SereneWe covered up in long sleeves and pants and left a small donation upon entering. This seemed to be very much appreciated. This is a beautiful serene little church with fabulous exterior architecture and round stained glass windows. The creche scene this Christmas was truly beautiful. there church compared to oursThe church of guadalupe was breath taking , compared to most churches in illionois. I was very upset relizing that the churches here are way to modern. The churches now are about money, money, money.

Throw away your watch!The church is beautiful and an important part of the culture here. Our first night though, it was hard to sleep as the bells gong every 15 minutes, and sometimes for no reason at all. But we nicknamed it El Ka-Bong and laughed every time we heard it. Guadalupe BeautyI love the whole area around the church. It's peaceful, but just steps away from the zocalo.

Wonderful and inspiringA good view of old Vallarta and the beautiful church and devotion of the local people. Many Catholic churches in the area St James being closest to the Lady are Awe Inspiring. Recommend a tour be established to all churches. We did see two nice churches in villages on the sierra Madre tour. Worth a visit!OLG is a beautiful cathedral located right across from the main plaza in downtown Vallarta. The interior is white plaster and marble with gold accents and beautiful stained glass.
