We had a great guided bike ride. The ride went away from downtown, and it felt like seeing Peurto Valarta in the 1950's. We rode through a couple little towns with dirt roads and saw chickens cross the road. It was surreal. The rided ended where someone sitting in hammock was selling sodas and beer. Again, it was surreal. Peurto Valarta is nice, but the tourism stuff got irritating downtown. The bike ride was a great change.

lo salto - not
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/04
The lo salto ride was more hike than bike - once you left the gravel/dirt roads and hit the trail leading to the waterfall. Not a sweet trail that I prefer. More of a cattle trail with a lot of steep loose dirt and cracked parch ground that you can ride down with brakes locked but not up. If I wanted to hike that much I'd climb a 14er. bring tick repellent.
