WOW!This is an amazing place to visit. Go through the entire site and take the time to read it is really interesting. Also be sure to go the museum. From the site of the Templo Mayor you can appreciate the culture of Mexico. It is amazing to see how one area gives you a look at 3 cultures the PreHispanic (Templo Mayor), Spanish (cathedral) and modern day (Latino Tower).OVERALLAtmosphereValue

Awsome, don't leave the city without going hereAwesome, it's a huge archaelogical site within the city !!! We spent more than 3 hours, most of the info signs are in english and spanish. Wall of skulls!This is an awesome experience and one you definately shouldn't miss if you're visiting the Zocalo.
Remember to bring a hat and sunscreen as alot of the museum is outside and it can get very hot in the middle of Mexico City. The museum which houses the artifacts found when the pyramids were discovered is beautiful. Very well laid out and easy to follow. A pyramid in the middle of the city!The location of the Templo Mayor means that there's no excuse for missing it - right in the middle of town, near the Cathedral, the Govt. bldgs and the Zocalo. If you don't have time to travel to Teotihuacan, this will give you a small taste of a pyrimid ruin site. The tour is not long, but it amazing to see the ruins of such a prominent structure, with its many rebuilt walls, that was only excavated in the past few decades.You did not find this review helpful.11 of 16 Yahoo!
