These exhibits will blow you away. If you think Mexico is only beaches, poverty and illiteracy, wake up to the heritage of this country. the place was very clean and educational. my kids really liked it because they could learn a lot. the only thing that didn't work for me was that i was confused where to go because there weren't that many guides to show you around.

What an experience !! The museum building itself worth the fare (less than US$5). But inside you'll find amazing pieces of native american history, ranging from places like Arizona and New Mexico to Guatemala. It is the best historic museum I have ever visit.

Be sure to allow enough time to visit it, We spent 6 hours, and enjoyed every minute.

This museum is top-notch everywhere you look. This is must see. Even the "cool" people (who would rather not go to a museum) in your group will be impressed. The only disappointment is that all signs describing all exibits are spanish only. To get the most of the museum, study first, or bring a Mexican friend if possible.

Unusually comprehensive and well-done archaeological museum. Too much to see it all in a few hours, but well worth a visit. Sundays are free access.
