Just there last week! Used Sand Dollar Sports to take us out. This was a great group of people who will make sure your dive is enjoyable. I would love to dive the Santa Rosa Wall again. You'll dive down to about 40-50 feet where it's mainly flat...then over the wall to about 80. We were able to see a nurse shark, lobster, flounder, sea horses, trumpet fish and many others.

Just got back from diving this reef
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/08
This dive was awesome. Our dive group was fairly small with only 10 people and visibility was close to 200 feet and we saw a lot of marine life. Water was warm and it was a drift dive but would definitely do it again. We stayed around 80-90 feet.

It was soo much fun and I got to see coral sponges and large fish. The wall was fun, even though my brother went to deep and got yelled at!!

Wilma scars
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/07
Unfortunately, it looks like Hurricane Wilma took out a good portion of the reef. Maybe 70 to 80 percent was dead. Still some Groupers and Baracuda hanging around as well as some sparse fish on the reef. ...

Santa Rosa Wall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/07
We dove the Santa Rosa Wall and thought it was exciting. I do agree with the other reviewer that it is very easy to go deeper without realizing it but our guide was very good and kept us to 80-90 feet. Also, it is important to pay attention for yourself and not rely on anyone else for your safety. Going in and out of the small holes was fun and we ...

The Wall
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/09/07
Santa Rosa is WAY overrated. I lead dive trips and do NOT take people to this site. the currents are strong, the bottom is out of site and its just too big of a risk to keep divers at the 80' depth range.. I have seen divers as deep as 130'.. its just asking for trouble.
