Great place. Great people. Easy to get to from town via taxi or scooter. Plan to spend the whole day here relaxing, swimming, drinking beer and smiling! The beach is one of the best on the island.

when you first get there it does't look like much but when you sit down and take it all in you quickly understand how great this place is you can sit a big corporate chain bar and have a good time but this place is every thing those places will never be you have to experience it to understand how great it truly is. can't wait to go back

After what seemed like a 30 minute cab ride that cost 20 bucks we arrived at Mezacalitos and the place was closed. There was no beauty in half dead vegetation and a beach that looked like a rock quarry. Took another 20 dollar cab ride back to town and went to Carlos and Charlies and had a great time.

Well, first of all i have to say that people that complains about prices in mezcalitos, they have no idea about prices in mexico, there is no reason to have cheap prices if you have great quality food and service. The smallest drinks in town. Casa Dennis has better drinks..the food is good and the beach is very nice. And those bathrooms?!?!?! Just make sure you take your own hand-cleaner...

I was here Jan.26,2008. It was awesome. Laid back, beach bar,excellent view!!! Right on the beach. great guacamole, margaritas, shrimp faijitas. We had lunch for three and it was $68.00. yEs, It was pricey, but it was more food than we could eat and well worth it. I will definately be back!!!

Just a 10 minute ride from town and we arrived at Mezcalito's The last frontier, surrounded by mangles, beach and wilderness. We watched flamingos fly by and listen to Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet's tunes, while rocking in our hammock..... and sipping a strong, strong Margarita...we have arrived in heaven
No fast food, only fast margaritas is. this the place we always dream about back at home

Mezcalito's is one of those places you always dream about and few get to experience. Every time we are anywhere near the area, we must make it to Cozumel and drive out to the wild and desolate east coast with a least half a day devoted to Mezcalito's.

I think its the best beach bar on the island, me and my family loved the food, if anybody ever gets to go to cozumel, you cant miss mezcalitos... Love the staff, everybody is so friendly.
