Dino's closed in fall 2007. however Alfonso is renting a small portion of beach front on the Costera across from his old restaurant and cooking there! Still love him and all the food he prepares. Be prepared for a very limited menu.

You can still find the terrific food from Dino's across the street next to Barbarroja! Great salads/pasta/fish...even the bread! and listen to the sound of the surf.

We will be there in two weeks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/08
My sister and I visit Acapulco yearly. We always visit Dino's for dinner the first night we arrive. The food is delicious and the service is always great. We sit on the balcony overlooking the strip and the ocean and the view is wonderful.

BEST FOOD FOR THE DOLLAR IN ALL OF MEXICO
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/07
FOOD IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. BEEN GOING TO ACAPULCO FOR 26YEARS AND NEXT TO HARD TIMES WHICH IS CLOSED NOW DINO'S IS BY FAR OUR FAVORITE. INSIDE AIR COND. IS STANDARD BUT WE PERFER OUTSIDE OVERLOOKING THE STRIP. FOOD AND SERVICE IS ALWAYS TOPS.
newly remodeled a yr or so ago, so you now have air conditioning or a choice of thenoutdoor patio area; prices are still fair considering inflation thses days, service was polite, professional and the waiters are always accomodating and willing to prepare something perhaps not exactly on the menu, to your liking..we have gone there over 30 years ...

Pasta, Pasta, Pasta.....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/07
I'm a chicago native and plenty of Itlaian choices at home, Dino and staff make you feel at home and the food is great!! Try the Ravioli, my favorite!!
I did post the review entitled "Every Dinner for Two Weeks". And now I want to recind it. In the decade I have been vacationing in Acapulc I have never seen a bigger change for worse like the one I saw in Dino's this year. The prices are up, about $17 (USD) for veal parm. The portions are shrinking for the first time ever I left ...

Every Dinner for Two Weeks
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/05
Dino's is not only one of the oldest places to eat in Acapulco it is also one of the best. The menu is comprised of mainly Italian dishes but they do offer a limited selecion of fine seafood and steaks. House specialities are prepared near your table as you sit on the balcony over looking the strip or in air conditioned comfort inside. ...
