First of all, this is not an authentic indian food..They should not call an Indian restarunt.... The food is not good at all... its stale food.. if it would have been in my town, i would have sued them for the kind of food they serve....

Whoever goes there, please dont think that Indian food is like these ones..

Instead i would suggest some ...

we went on a wedness day night,and we wont
go again.trust me ,it is like throwing your

main course:some stale,mostly "not" authentic and appetizing.
appetizer:very few ok .
dessert:don't even try.

well ,largest buffet in north america,-neither in variety,nor in serving good food but only in area.

I loved this restaurant! This is where i took my boyfriend so he could try Indian food for the first time. The variety and quality of food were very impressive, and the buffet allowed him to sample and learn to enjoy the food as much as me. Excellent service and great prices for the array.

I have just returned from my first trip to montreal and I just HAD to post my experience with 'Buffet Maharaja'. The good reviews sent me there and I can say without a doubt that it was the worst indian food i had ever eaten anywhere in the world! I am a vegetarian so can speak only for that side of the buffet.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat good Indian food when in Montreal. There was a lot of variety, including appetizers, veg, non-veg, salads, fruits, desserts. The taste was also very good.

Great food! The whole experience was fantastic. Didn't have to wait much in line. Busy and cozy place. I really liked it, i'm from Toronto so food to me was pretty good. I've had better, but its definitely worth the C$15.00. Didn't even get to the ice cream! Lots of variety including chicken, meat, veges, dessert, salads.. I must to go back there when I visit Montreal again.

Me and a friend were looking for an italian buffet that night when we came across this place....We gave it a try & let me tell you this overall is the best indian buffet/restaurant i've been to!! Only 15 dollars to an open buffet for 1 person. So many foods to choose over, that i couldnt try everything...I'm desfinitley going back and would recommend it to others. I give it five stars. *****

What a great suprise wonderful food from a buffet! This was no kidding the best meal wee had in Montreal. My mother had never even tried Indian food before and she loved this place. Really a must if you are in the area.
