We had a lovely meal. I loved the phyllo and goat cheese appetizer. My grilled salmon was good too. My husband enjoyed his sea bass. Our waiter was attentive and not snooty.

I was there for 4 times in a short period during a convention, and each time the service was good, and I had a good time. The prix fixe menu is good and includes a starter, entree, and a dessert. Having never been to Montreal and tried alot of Restaurants in just a few days, this is the best yet. It offered a taste of the Old Montreal cuisine with impecable service. Make reservations and come early if your pressed for time.

We have been to Montreal twice, and each time we ate at Bonaparte...My entire family loves it. The food is excellent, the ambience wonderful...definitely try the venison, filet mignon, chicken, and duck. We have never had anything we disliked. Somewhat expensive, but not when compared to similar types of restaurants in NYC,
