Casa Loma is a must see in Toronto. Everytime people come to visit we drive to Toronto to see the castle. I never get tired of it. I especially like the secret passages that you are actually allowed to use. Nothing is off limits at the castle which is very nice. It closes pretty early....I think around 5 pm, so don't wait til the evening ...

I could live there
By putcat76, 03/22/06
This was a great place to visit. Admission was very inexpensive and it was a great way to spend a day. Make sure not to overload yourself since there are a few very tight spiral staircases that can be downright scary with a camera and purse to contend with also. And definetly make sure to pay attention on the walk to the castle. If you're ...

Terrific!!
By ilh369, 08/12/06
It was really cool. get an audio set and you'll get to know alot of cool things of the castle. there is a really cool under ground tunnel that leads to lots of places. also there's an im complete pool that was going to have golden swans around them.
We went to Casa Loma early one day. We took the usual tourist pictures outside in the beautiful surroundings. We never went inside because it would have been $40 for our family of 5 to get in. Ouch. + 3 busloads of school children just arrived before us.
My husband felt $40 was too much. I, however, would have spent it. I think it would have ...

Enjoyable visit
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/13/08
Thoroughly enjoyed learning and discovering the story behind Casa Loma. As I am a gardener and amateur photographer it was paradise for me. The gardens surrounding the castle were of course my favorite part. My husband and I climbed the stairs in the turret for a fantastic view of the city below. Have to admit that we were surprised at the ...

it was amazing to see this giant castle in the middle of a major city. we took the audio tour which was really interesting. it was incredible to see all the rooms and secret passageways. going to the very top is a little hard if you are clastrophobic because the stairs are very winding narrow... however, it is worth the view.

Casa Loma was really nice. Audiotour is free and very informative...not too long. It helps to understand the history, which makes the whole experience better. We watched the movie and took a much needed rest, it was interesting. be sure to climb the steps to the tower and travel the 800 foot tunnel. We thought the deli was fine, (about $5 for a ...

My parents took me to see Casa Loma in the late 70's. I was so excited to go back to Casa Loma now with a family of my own. My daughters loved Casa Loma. It was a different experience because of the audio guide and since then many movies have been filmed in Casa Loma. My daughters wanted to move in. Lots of secret passages, beautful views ...

A feast for the senses
By Dave, 05/14/07
It was a short hike from the subway stop, but the grounds and gardens are immaculate. Plenty of photo opportunities before you even enter Casa Loma.
We were offered the audio assistance/tour, but declined when we realized it would take an entire afternoon. Viewed the rooms on our own, took many photographs. The conservatory and library are the ...
