The Toronto Islands are definitely a unique attraction. A short 15-minute ferry ride away from the city, the islands are a giant park featuring a children's amusement park, petting zoo, frisbee golf, sandy beaches, bicycle paths (rentals on the island), and many places perfect for picnics. It's a popular day-trip for Torontonians and should definitley be added to your list.
