It is a small, cozy restaurant and I like the food! It is close to where we live and we always find the menu interesting and very much to our taste. Overall fine dining..without being overpriced. My favorite: The liver dish...

Great Food at Great PRices
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/30/07
Ambience cozy and warm. Food is tasty, nicely presented, good portions, at very reasonable prices. Service prompt and friendly but not intrusive. Nice wine list. Chef came out to say hello and talked about the meal...nice touch. After spending obscene amounts of money at Rain and SuSur for precious little portions of very ordinary fare, we ...

Nothing Galic
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 01/20/07
Based on lunch. It is now really an upscale sandwich shop. The sandwiches are OK but nothing more. Fries somewhat greasy. Good deserts. Grilled liver was properly cooked and well presented
Better to change the name to something not French even if it is only Harlequin and people will not be disapointed

Bittersweet chocolate tart was delicious. A friend ...

Where's the lamb burger?!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/12/06

But sadly they have changed the menu, and as my Toronto friend recently wrote in an email, "it's just not as good." Arlequin, what were you thinking?

A solid dining experience everytime
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 03/11/06
I hope that this review helps tourists find one of what I consider the most consistent dining experiece in Toronto. Over the years, we've gone back time and time again, and each time it's been fabulous. Last visit was during Winterliscious, and the service still was great, even though it's often a different (and sometimes cheaper) ...

Lovely fare & a splendid Chef
By Alek (if you havent guessed), 02/09/06
The foie gras was perfectly cooked and married well with caramelized apples. The atlantic salmon, without a doubt, was fresh from the ocean, tenderly cooked to the righteous medium rare and eclectically accompanied with sobu noodles, (yum!!) As for the desserts, well they were on a league of thier own, the apple tarte tatin reminded me of European ...
