The food at Thai Princess was pedestrian at best and slightly overpriced for the quality, the service was friendly [albeit slightly incompetant, as we waited for drinks, and menus, and while we receive dour food, noone checked in to see how we enjoyed it - with good reason.]
Our drinks were watery, rice was overcooked, and the pad thai overly ...

Our Favorite Thai restaurant in Toronto
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/19/08
We have been going to Thai princess for the last 6 years. It is our favorite Thai restaurant in the Toronto area. We actually drive down from the west end, and it takes us 40 minutes but it is def worth the drive and trip into town.

The Absolute Best Thai in Toronto
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/07
I have been coming to Thai Princess for about 7 years and the quality has remained consistent through different owners and management. It is a quaint place - no real atmosphere but amazing food and usually good service. The chicken Red Curry is the best I have ever eaten ...creamy and well flavoured. The Tom Yum Soup always amazing. When I worked in the area we ate lunch here at least 2 a week. Well priced and terrific food.

under rated by far
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/20/06
the food was great. the service was excellent. the location is convenient. most importantly, the price for the amount of food you get is incredible. a choice of soup, a big portion of rice, some sort of salad with a thai salad dressing and what ever you happend to order, for about 10 dollars (add an extra buck for lamb and duck dishes though). you can barely finish all the food. excellent value.

Best Thai in the city
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/06
I've spent months in Thailand and had yet to find a restaurant in Toronto that compared to the food in the islands. Thai Princess is it! We order from Thai Princess almost once a week. My only complaint is that I wish they were open on Sunday nights for delivery!!! Definitely highly recommended.

Best Hot & Sour Soup anywhere
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/13/06
I've tried hot & sour soup everywhere and theirs is by far the best. I'll miss Thai Chili on Queen because it was closer but I'm willing to walk to King and Peter for the soup alone.
A few other dishes that are great are the curry pad thai and the peanut chicken.
I've never eaten at the Thai Princess, but I order delivery from them all the time. There aren't that many good delivery places in TO, and Thai Princess is usually pretty quick (45 min. or so downtown), and the food is deeeeeeeelicious! My favourite thai food delivery place. one draw back is they're not open on sundays
The Curry Pad Thai was sooooo good!!! The Tom Yum Soup was very yummy too...one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in TO. It wasn't expensive and the portions are very generous! Yummy Yummy Yummy!!! It was worth the line up!
