A modern asian restaurant , tucked away amongst dozens of other chinese / korean / vietnamese restaurants . This one stands out amongst the rest, a little oasis of GREAT FOOD , atmosphere , service . etc. The DUMPLINGS are AMAZING , We tried the APP. special of the night , SOFT SHELL CRAB ! AMAZING as well ! pared with a local wine from the Niagra Region. The overall meal experience was Outstanding !

I called in a late night to put in a large order for lunch for about 30 people the following day.. I couldnt have got better service! The gentleman on the line made suggestions, was extremely polite and took his time to help me from the chicken fried rice down to the chop sticks! The order arrived a few minutes late, but that was quickly forgotten ...

Excellent consistency and value for money. People rave about this place and for good reason. The food is served fresh and Hot and service is exceptionally friendly.Everyone comes here for their hot and sour soup and Dumplings . try them you'll crave them every week like I do !

My friends and I frequent this little establishment quite often. I highly recommend the Dumplings as an appetizer. the hot and sour soup is to die for ( according to some of my best friends too ) for the mains you can't go wrong with a noodle combination of lets say . . . Pad Thai and . . . any other dish really. Everything is sooooo delicious. I think it is run by a Chinese family. the service is always warm welcoming & friendly.

Very impressed by this restaurant . You can actually see how much this restaurant cares about what they do. They serve great food with freindly service in a restaurant with great ambiance. The restaurant buzzes with activity . You don't get this kind of place anywhere anymore ! This is a great find for those who love eating out .

If you want to go to Shanghai for food, don't bother!
If you want to have some fun for a night, then go have fun. But don't think about good food there.

Visiting Ottawa from Toronto. I'm amazed at this little restaurant. The staff was very friendly, we felt right at home. The meal was nothing less than fantastic ! ! ! To top it all off we stayed for drinks and karaoke and had an amazing time. There is nothing like this in Toronto. Great job Shanghai restaurant, you made our visit to Ottawa very memorable.
