Halifax doesnt have many attractions and as such one must review based on other attractions within the city rather then in other cities. With that in mind the images shown in the gallery were all well done as was the train setup for watching videos. This attraction ranks at the top compared to other attractions in halifax and does an excellent job of depicting and providing imagery of what the immigration period was like.

Much of the history of my early childhood was captured in this very good "museum" so I was very interested in the photos, mementos and other displays. An excellent audio-visual experience too. Much to think about and so many personal stories, both good and bad. The inhumanity of the system was not forgotten. A real credit to Canada's view of its own past,warts and all

Pier 21 was one of the main attractions we came to Halifax to see and it did not disappoint.

It was a great learning experience for my husband and I. We were able to put outselves in our parents shoes to feel what they felt when immigrating to Canada and seeing it for the first time.
