Having only tried Greek food once before, on a trip to Europe, I was NOT disappointed at OPA. My dining experience exceeded my expectations, my mouth waters at the thought of eating there again. I tell everyone I know, Please go there!

The food was wonderful. The barbq octpus was divine. Please come to Californina and cook. You could come and cook in the winter. The muscles and all the little things we ordered where great.

Ordering the cheese flambe is essential. It's quite the display! There is an olive tree in the centre of the restaurant glowing with little white lights. Moving past the statrers and atmosphere, the main course isn't too shabby either! Especially the traditional Greek dishes. Although I would avoid the stuffed chicken, that was putrid. ...

The food is consistently delicious. A great place to go with a large group as there is something that appeals to everyone. The lunch menu has a great variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. Always a great place to go for lunch or dinner.

It was my first time in Halifax and I was invited to this great “taverna” like restaurant. I was surprised about the authenticity and the quality of the food. I come from London (England) and eat Greek there on a regular basis, but I have to say that the food was just as good and maybe even better than the best places in London (Limani and Lemonia).
