A true gemLocated in the west side of the city just west of Kitsilano so you can combine a visit to the hotel with a walk on 4th avenue and maybe some shopping.
The museum has a huge collection of 'first nations' items starting from gigantic totem poles and canoes down to masks, baskets and jewlery.

Hidden Treasure of a MuseumThis shouldn't be missed if you go to Vancouver. There are many large wooden works of native art, totem poles, etc. The atmosphere is great, and I wanted to spend more time.
