My wife and I dined here on a blustery, rainy Saturday night in December. What a contrast with the warm, inviting ambiance created by the efficient staff as they catered to our needs. The presentation of the food was notable. Our selections were prepared just right in tasty sauces. Our wine from a little know region of France complimented the food. As the folks from Michelin might say, it is worth a detour.

The ambience is elegant and quiet, allowing normal conversation.

The food was even better. Perfectly sauteed shrimp and scallops. Perfectly cooked wonderfully seasoned meats. Delicious desserts.

On a par with the finest restaurants in New York and San francisco

The food and service were impeccable, and we had a very nice wine selection. The experience made the evening truly special and worth the price.

An attractive setting but the food was a disappointment. Stick to local seafood. The Dover sole tasted as though it had been frozen. As with all "upscale" Vancouver restaurants, expect to see patrons in Bermuda shorts and flip-flops.

I'm fairly picky about restaraunts and I can't think of one negative thing to say.
This is a place that gets everything right, such a rarity. The ambiance is elegant w/out being stuffy. The food is perfection and the staff is excellent. I wouldn't think of going to Vancouver w/out visiting Le Crocodile.

My husband and I had the pleasure of eating at Le Crocodile twice on our last visit to Vancouver, and we're going to eat at it twice when we go back next month. This restaurant is my all time favorite. Everything is prepared so well, the service was perfect, and the value for your money is excellent.
