  • Better Than Galaxyland!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/09
We take our kids to this park every summer. We all love the place. Even the kids love learning about "olden days" and it's very educational as well as entertaining. In their words "It's better than Galaxyland"! That says a lot coming from kids!

  • Definately Worth The Trip
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/08
When my husband and I discussed taking our five year old daughter to Ft. Edmonton I was a little hesitant. We all ended up loving it. We can't wait to go back! Just don't make the mistake that we did and only plan your trip for 1/2 a day! There is so much to see and do that we should have taken a whole day. Well worth the trip! The actors do an amazing job!

  • Worth a visit
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/26/08
Seriously, this is probably one of perhaps three places in the whole of Edmonton worth a visit, you really do get a sense of the past times here and it's interesting for kids also - there are animals to pet and the old tram to ride. Good fun, check out the Edmonton City website for info on free entry days as the tickets aren't the cheapest.

  • Every Summer
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/07
I love learning about historic Edmonton, people that you can meet along the way can tell you about the way these people lived.
There is always something new going on and something new to learn. It keeps me coming back year after year in summer season.
It is something to put on your to do list if you visit The Capital Of Alberta.
Make sure to go during the spring and summer season when the park is open.

  • I will visit it again
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/10/07
I loved dressed up people there, nice atmosphere and all. It felt like walking in the past and I loved it. I recomended to everyone who loves to remember and learn more about our past, about lives our grandperents and great grantperents lived.
The best time to visit is in summer or spring, when warm sun and green nature can add to romantic atmosphere.

  • i dont want to go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/09/07
Its too old and smelly. I like new things. I guess seeing the fur trade stuff wasnt that bad. If you like historical stuff give it a shot. Its not my thing but you know im the kind of person that likes to keep their clothes clean!!

  • An underrated jewel
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/15/05
Wonderful place to spend the day. The history presented is of the well-researched and realistic variety, so go with an open and active mind, don't expect shoot-outs or hootenanies, and for goodness sake ask questions, the interpreters aren't going to bite!
