We have been visiting the Highlevel Diner for several years. The service and food are always consistent and excellent. Now with young kids at home we have used dial and dine to have food delivered and we order food to be picked up. It is fast and affordable.

The Family Tradition
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/23/07
With a unique atmosphere the High Level is one of my favourite restuarants in Edmonton. The low lights, classic hardwood tables and original art give the place a really cozy yet classy feel.
The menu ranges from the very simple fresh soups and quiches, to the classic restaurant burger, to more elaborate Meditteranian dishes. A better tabouhleh ...
The High Level Diner is a rockin joint for so many reasons the most massive of which is the house made ketchup. I'm goin back fer sure... I gotta get that recipe :)

high level lost lustre...

The High-Level Diner had the reputation for years of being a break-fast institution, so when company was to be fed....company with a discerning palate and a desire for ambience was ready for breakfast, the High-level was our destination. Arrival on a Sunday, post-church crowd, afforded us a 22 minute wait. The aromas coming out the kitchen ...

My wife and I have been going here for years and we never get tired of it. Breaksfasts are a favourite but the dinner menu is great too.

Looking forward to next visit to Edmonton!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/07
My first visit to the Diner was a great experience. I liked the friendliness of the people and staff, and the good service. I ordered the Spinach Pie with Tabouleh Salad and coffee. It was all just excellent. The only problem was parking! I guess you already know about that! Hope to dine there next time I'm in the city. ...

Everything about this place, from the incredible food to the quirky atmosphere make this a great eatery at any time of day. Highly recommended! Great for a nice lunch, but the breakfast is why I keep coming back. Love it!!!

An Old Favorite
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/06
The Highlevel Diner is a favorite of mine for reasons including atmosphere, location, and the good food. Rustic is a good word for the decor, and the food choices are interesting and reasonably priced, and they have everything from burgers to veggie curry.

Hit & miss
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/25/05
It seems every third time I go something is wrong. Food is good, healthy tasting, decent value - but not amazing. Was once served a soup which was not the one I ordered (did not match the description at all) but the waiter said it was the soup that we ordered rather than admitting the it was the only type of soup left...)
I ordered a spinach enchilada, which turned out to be frozen defrosted spinach with a tortilla wrapped around it, accompanied by dried-out rice and black beans with a crusty top. The entire plate appeared to have been plated hours earlier and left to dry out. Halfway through my meal, I noticed a hair firmly glued to my plate by a glop of melted, ...
