Superb, innovative food in a relaxed atmosphere. We went back several times in the week we were in Banff. We ordered different things each time, excellent food every time! Who would have thought that "Southwest-style" food in Canada would be so amazingly delicious!

We were with a large party. Some liked their food, others thought it so-so. The pizza crust was undercooked. We sent it back to the oven. The topping was bland. the dishes are always spectacular. When the plate is placed in front of you you can't help but be wowed, and then you take a bite and be even more impressed. Tastes, textures, and colours are amazingly well put together, and I can't say I've had anything but a fabulous meal here yet, and we frequent quite often - it's well worth the drive from Calgary.

Had the pasta with sun-dried tomatoes,olives & feta cheese.The entire dish was a small-size serving of overly garlicky,dried-out capellini,with very few sun-dried tomatoes & very little feta cheese.All you could taste was the overwhelming garlic!!At $19,you'd be far better off stopping at the local Safeway to pick up the ingredients to prepare this dish at home!!! Poor value,poor quality!!!

Enjoyable, entertaining, delicious and clean are the reasons we return to Coyote's on a regular basis. The staff and chefs create a dining experience with plenty of variety. We find the ambiance consistently friendly, a great place for either a romantic dinner or an evening with our family. It is definitely part of our Banff evening out.

We were greeted at the door by a very rude young lady, (we were a party of 2), and made to wait while she seated unreserved parties of 3 that came in after we arrived. Other patrons were clearly upset with her rudeness as well. Never did get to try the food, her attitude certainly tarnished the reputation of this place for us. Will never return.

First off, we never did get called for our reservation. we had to repeatedly ask for our reservation seating.
