I have enjoyed the restaurant for lunch on several occasions. My wife and I decided to have dinner there as the The Trough (our first pick) was closed for a private party. The service wasn't very good. It was painfully obvious that the server didn't know anything about the wine list. The starter salad was extremely light on what we took to ...

I really enjoy going to this restaurant I go probably once a month. Nice family business and the service is great considering the bow valley serving staff people come and go so often.
My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Crazy Weed Kitchen based on the rave reviews we’ve read.
Ambience The “Kitchen” in Crazy Weed Kitchen is a great description of the ambience in this place. You DO feel like you’re eating in a kitchen because it is very white, very open, very noisy, and you come out smelling ...

not famly friendly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/09
My family and I went to The Crazyweed because everone said it was great. We came in with a toddler and said we need six seats and a baby seat. They seated us and then we found out they do not have high chairs. Our food took one hour to arrive and the waiter never came around to ask us if we wanted more beverages or that our food was coming. We would not go back there. The food was very good, but it was not a pleasant experience.

it's worth the trip from Calgary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/08
this article is very out dated, it is now a restaurant located on Railway ave in Canmore with 1o0 seats and a lunch and dinner menu. Fabulous food and a great deck facing the three sisters mountains. The menu includes flat bread sandwiches, apple-wood cooked pizza, Thai chicken curry, and tenderloin with aioli sauce and for dessert homemade ice ...

Crazyweed needs a new name
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/15/08
I think it needs a new name as it certainly is not the crazyweed that it was- good food, great bread with good service at a reasonable price, now its pretentious, pricey and sterile and we left hungry! Over sixty bucks for 2 glasses of wine, two sandwiches and a plate of dried out warm French fries for 10 buck! Ouch. It was a place we always ...
What a challenge for all concerned to go from Canmore’s smallest dining location to its owner designed new build site at 1600 Railway Avenue.
It was always going to take time to bed in and we were afraid the new location would lose its charm and quirkiness; after all it was in 2006 that we last eat at the Main Street location.
It was ...

A little dissapointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/08
Having only eaten at Crazy weed before for lunch, I somehow expected their dinner menu to be as varied as lunch. However,we found the menu to be somewhat limited in comparison. The food was good but not great as I remember it from a couple of yrs ago at their old location. Service was also not that great, our server was charming but run off her ...

Chicken Mole to die for....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/08
As noted by the titled, I loved the Friday Night special Chicken Mole - the mole sauce has so many different flavors that combined to create an overall dining sensation. This main entree came with a large bowl of rice, beans and tortilla strips so even the hungriest skier would be satisfied! The only minor setback was the wine a Malbec from ...
