been last year to Kai Sushi Bar in Tel aviv, a lovely place, though am looking for more traditional japanese style bar / restaurant...

The place has no atmosphere, loud and noisy,there are very few items on the conveyor belt so you have to order off the menu, the food takes ages to come and what ever you order all comes on one plate so you cant pace the meal out at all, the service is very slow and the staff didnt seem to care when we walked out having not had everything we had ordered... its nothing like Yo Sushi if thats what your expecting..

The fact that the place was packed solid when we arrived spoke volumes. It had been enthusiastically recommended by friends, in the same way as I now recommend it to my friends. The service was excellent with a number of suggestions from one of the staff that turned out to be far better than what I'd originally intended to order. I must admit ...

The place was interesting for Tel Aviv. I sat for an hour and a half though and didn't see anything that rolled by on the conveyor that appealed to me (not a big fan of avacado, about 90% of everything had avacado in the roll). The service was OK. Ordered off the menu and it wasn't bad, just average to me. Many years in Japan spoiled me though.

this is my absolute favorite restaurant. they have the best sushi ive ever eaten and have eaten here 3 times in one weekend and the food is always amazing
