amazing 7+ course tasting menu based on local ingredients; chef-owners do tableside presentation of herbs & spices. biblical israeli cuisine. huge amount of excellent food & great deal for the money. come hungry for this 3-hour meal-event.

Don't go to Jerusalem without eating here

The food is superb. Moshe's knowledge and passion about the origins of the ingredients is deep and he gladly teaches you what he has learned. The connection to history and regions of the diaspora makes the meal feel like you are going back in time to places that no longer teem with Jews. The co-ownership of Palestinian and Jew gives one hope for peace. A must!

Eucalyptus (located just north of the Russian compound, one block off of Jaffa Road, about half-way between Ben Yehuda and the Old City) offers wonderful food and a gracious, professional staff. Fantastic food served by a professional, but warm staff. The multi-course menus are wonderful, but be prepared for a huge amount of food. Varied tastes and all done well.
