The Millenium Bridge is an instantly recognizable bridge across the Thames. Its architectural style is very impressive and it's a nice walk as well, particularly in the evenings. Enjoy a great river view of London.

Great little pedestrian bridge with a suspension design that goes outward horizontally instead of vertically. What this means for walkers (and central London is GREAT for walkers) is an unobstructed view all directions, whether upriver toward Parliament or downriver toward Big Ben, or north toward St. Paul's or south to the Tate Modern. Best of all, it is free. We watched fireworks at midnight on New Years Eve.
