  • Beautiful view but.....

It's not made for great picture taking...I had problems with the weird shaped glass it made for reflections and odd shapes.

  • Ah, London.
    By Chasity, 10/22/09
This next spring will be my third trip to London, and I absolutely plan on taking a ride on the London eye again. So far I've only done it at night time, which was absolutely beautiful seeing Parliament and the city all lit up, but I would definitely like to try it during the day. Price is very affordable, especially considering it takes about 30 minutes to get all the way around. Definitely a must-do in London!

  • Must Do!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
The London Eye has become a "must do" much like going up the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Empire State Building in New York or the CN Tower in Toronto. As such, I didn't really worry too much about the cost but I certainly didn't think it was a rip off even though I went up with my wife and 4 kids. The views are simply spectacular ...

  • Worth It!

Yes, it was pricey, but the view was amazing! We were lucky, as our "flight" coincided with the sundown on a clear, mostly-cloudless day.

  • wouldnt go on it again
    By eva, 04/15/08
It was enjoyable but not worth 15 pound they seriously make their money. You see a lot like westminster etc. however I just thought what a rip off for the tourists we had to wait for longer than expected because soon sad person was getting married. i might have seemed like a good idea at the time but i bet they will look back and think what was the point

  • Wouldn't run back...
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/08
Decided to go on the London eye and it was OK. it costs £15 per adult for 30 mins. you can buy a map for £3 so you know what you are looking at! there were no queues and we walked ( jumped) straight on.
It's nice to say we have done it but would probably have been better had we gone at night. Two of our party felt a bit queezy for the ...

While being a little on the expensive side it certainly was a real thrill. The day we chose was fantastic and the view unbeleiveable and Credit must be given to those who designed it. they even gave discount for an Australian pensioner card .
