  • A Facade
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 11/27/04
When you hear the name ' The London Dungeon', you are expecting something close to the Tower of London. It is thte cheeziest horror house I've seen. They take you from the time of the Black Death, to Jack the Ripper.
As fake as everything looked, it is still graphic when it comes to the Jack the Ripper sequence. If you do choose to waste your money, do not take young children.
Go see the Tower of London instead.

  • If you like bathroom smells...go!
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/04/05
The place was way overpriced, not very scary, and smelled of urine and feces throughout. The gift shop was okay, but the exhibits were painfully amateurish and poorly presented. The log ride? What a joke. No quality whatsoever. Please don't waste your time standing in line and your money on this smelly, ...

  • Terrible
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 10/15/05
The place was boring! The Jack the Ripper exhibit was a slide show. Not a good one at that. Most of the time was spent standing around.

  • The best part was the exit
    By postypaul, 03/02/06
It was to crowded , no atmosphere, actors boring. It took over 3.50 hrs from start to finish. A complete waste of time and money.Jack the ripper frightening dont make me laugh. A pair off legs hanging from the ceiling. They really need to get their act together. I went in feb 2006 and filled out their customer survey and also wrote to them ...

  • what a con
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 04/08/06
I stood in line like all the other mugs. 2 hours. When I eventually got in I couldn't believe how poor were the "exhibits" ( I use the term loosely) and the ghoulish blood-curdling noises (ditto) were. Much shuffling long in the dark, supposedly scared. Jack the Rippoff might be more apt. Lots of bloodletting (it's a lot worse in ...

  • Waste of Money
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 05/11/06
I was so frightened by it that I hated it. Looking back (it's been a month and I'm over it now), it's just too long... 2 hours being scared to death is just too much. And the boat ride to absolutely nothingness is a waste of time.

  • Over rated, over publicised and over priced
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 04/22/07
London Dungeons is probably the most over rated, over publicised and over priced.
Its the most pathetic experience and a waste of time, money and expectations/anticipations.
Tourists with tight schedules end up wasting a complete session in queing up, being managed by young lads in their 20/30's dealing with tourists in the most obnoxious and ...

  • Tacky Tourist Trap
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 05/23/07
London is full of real and historic sites...why waste time on such a tacky tourist trap? Want dungeons? Visit the Tower of London.

And parents, for pity sake, why take your kids to someplace that presents all this gruesome plastic gore?

  • Worst attraction in london
    By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/02/07
This was an over priced tourist attraction.

It was so un life like and and the ridculas actors who just tryed to make you jump and not tell you a great deal about the history.

Why they have rides in there is beyond me.

I did visit the dungeons about 10 years ago and it was so much better then. You actually learned about the history.

They seriously need to look into this as it was so ridculas - WOULD DEF NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!
