THis was very expensive for what little I could see. There was a lot of renovations and repairs going on while I was there and a lot of the attractions were closed. Some of the guided tours did not start when they were scheduled to.

The Crown Jewels
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 11/01/06
The Crown Jewels were my Favorite. You can't imagine the size of the diamonds, you just have to see them. The moving walkway doesn't allow you enough time to see them, but you can stand on the landing and still get an ok view.

So many things
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 09/26/05
The Tower of London is packed with so many differnet artifacts that one needs to set aside hours for exploration. The Crown Jewels are simply breathtaking while the different war weapons throughout history baffle the mind.

Crown jewels
By nordenstadtsteve, 09/30/05
While the tower is great, the viewing of the crown jewels is rushed and anticlimactic.
Children should enjoy the stories about the history of the tower. The beefeater guards on the Tower of London grounds give an excellent lecture - who had her head chopped off, who was imprisioned, the legend of the ravens.
The crown jewels are beautiful, but ...

Lots of information to lurn, a great place to spend the day at. It is one of Londons faviourate attractions that coinsides with my intrest. The only thing that i recomend is that it will be a difficult thing to take a stroller with you even though it is a big walk.

History in the rain
By AmyEmilia, 04/01/06
I had an extra day in London for tourist sights, so a colleague and I went to the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. The Tower was a bit surprising - such an old place and it looms so large in western history. I enjoyed the walk in the rain. We got the audio tour, which was amusing in it's ghoulishness. The narrator seemed bent on ...

A Good Lesson in British History
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/21/06
Definitely way cool and way London. The main thing is the white palace in the center of the castle grounds. Attractions include Henry the 8th's armor and the chopping block Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey lost their heads on among others. You also get to see the Queen's Crown Jewels inside a giant vault. The Jewels alone are worth the trip. ...
