In a small storefront decorated with shadow puppets, near busy Holborne station is a crooked-mile of a museum. Crammed floor-to-ceiling with games, puppets, dolls, and (its speciality) toy theatres, this museum is not to be missed. In the days before mass-produced plastic figurines and electronic games, children's toys were well-crafted treasures. This museum truly takes you to another world.

Pollock's was my favorite museum in London. I wish it was bigger. They had a lot of really interesting toys from other parts of the world,like shadow puppets.
