I just took my first trip through London's Madame Tussaud's this past May, and I will definitely stop there from now on whilst in London. This place is sooo much fun. You can spend HOURS looking around and taking pictures with the "stars"

One thing I would suggest is to go on a weekday during the morning, to early afternoon ...

On their site, they have a "cast your vote" for the republican wife you would like to see in the museum. Why should we have to vote on this. They should be there already...Why are only democrats wives in there??

Madame Tussaud's was really a waste of time thinking that you could beat the line up outside. For the 2nd time in 2 years we just turned around without entering......!
What a waste of good time.

I went with the wife and was hugely disappointed. First there were very long queues to get into the place, and then you seem to spend most of your time queuing just to see another wax model. The Chamber Live exhibition was the worst thing I have ever visited. You have to pay extra for this and before you enter you are constantly told not to touch ...

The website tended to put me off with too much mystery about what to expect, threats of long queues, unclear pricing and pressure to book a timed arrival slot.

Waxworks were generally excellent, with some exceptions such as Elvis.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. On noticing that it was my daughter's birthdy (wearing badge) the staff took us to front of queue. This made my daughter feel very special. She also rec'd a free book. We had a real fun time, and found all waxworks so lifelike. The Big Brother Diary room was hysterical! Thank you everyone at Madame Tussauds for a great day out in London, it is highly recommended!

makes a fun roll of vacation photos, but the lines are REALLY long and after it was all over i didn't feel really exhilirated or anything. very much a tourist trap, and we went in july 03 and waited in line for over 2hrs.
