Madame Tussaud's is one of those London places that most Americans have heard of and think are just absolutely no-miss places. In the case of Madame Tussaud's, it is not necessarily true. Arriving upon the block of Madam Tussaud's instantly I saw the massive line which stretched an entire city block. I was discouraged immediately, but decided to stick it out, since it was in a nice neighborhood of London, and it was a nice day. Madame Tussaud's is the kind of place you have to visit once, but don't necessarily need to return to. Celebrity waxworks are rotated fairly regularly, but once your curiosity is satisfied initially (I just *had* to see the birthplace of the Beatles likenesses from the cover of "Sgt. Pepper"!)

excellent waxworks, and a lot to see, but prices are now (2005) close to $40. U.S., too much for what you get. Without price as a factor, I would rate it much higher.

this place was amazing
i took my 89 year old mother aswell as my 10 year old daughter and son and we all loved it.

yes it is pricey but not all things can be free and i have no problem paying for such a good day out.

Amazing, a piece of ART, I always admired Madame Tussaud's never seen anything like it, very well done.

the interesting thing about itwas that all kind of famous or popular people were arounded in the gorgous fancy place .however , there is a drawback and its the cost of the ticket .

I got my picture taken with Kings and Queens - saw the Beatles - walked the East End where Jack the Ripper was and so many other wonderful people (and places) to see. When I go back again I will definately go back to Madame Tussaud's. It is one of the best places I've seen! Highly recommended

I went with the wife and was hugely disappointed. First there were very long queues to get into the place, and then you seem to spend most of your time queuing just to see another wax model. The Chamber Live exhibition was the worst thing I have ever visited. You have to pay extra for this and before you enter you are constantly told not to touch ...
