things to do for free are few and far between but this museum is great. with two boys aged 5 &3 this place keeps them amused for a couple of hours. We have been quite a few times now and my boys have not tired of looking at all the different types of fire engines, trams, cars and they especially love the steam trains that you can get up close ...

The Transport Museum is a real treat for all ages and will always remain enjoyable no matter how many times it is visited! I go back here all the time and it still intrigues me.

THE MODEL BOATS HAVE BEEN AN ATTRACTION TO MYSELF FOR OVER 30 YRS.THE SKILL AND CRAFTSMENSHIP THAT GOES INTO THESE SCALE MODELS IS TRUELY AMAZING.NOW MY SON HAS THE SAME EXCITED EXPRESSION ON HIS FACE WHENEVER WE MENTION THAT WE ARE GOING.
