  • CHRISTMAS BUFFET NIGHTS - NEVER GO
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/08
Me and 10 friends booked up to go to the Kama Sutra for thier christmas buffet evening. We all paid £35 per head and it was for a buffet and a free bar for two hours. We sat down the stairs and the DJ was the worst DJ I have ever heard, very disorganised. We were under the impression there was going to the a buffet but instead, 2 platters ...

  • Would never go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/08
Don't let them sit you downstairs. When booking always ask for a table upstairs. Recently I booked well in advance to celebrate a birthday. On arrival upstairs looked really warm and inviting but we were given a table downstairs. It was dark and cold and we were the only people seated at that point- no atmosphere at all.

    For the meal we ...

  • GO TO THE DHABBA
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/23/08
The food was ok, a little more expensive than some of the other places in Glasgow. Nothing outstanding about the place, decor fairly nice, easy to relax in. The big problem was that my friend and I had been waiting for a while to get desserts/coffee when the waiter suddenly put the bill on our table and said that someone was waiting for the ...

  • overpriced
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/15/08
the food is exactly the same as you would get in Ashoka but abut twice the price! the decor is cool, lots of erotic and funny pictures decorating the place. the staff are really nice, but as they gave away our table due to being a half hour late we had to sit downstairs where there were only 3 other diners, so it may not always be like this (there ...

  • EXCELLENT!
    By Youa, 09/17/07
The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. We go there for dinner quite often and never miss the Sunday Brunch Buffet.

If you like lamb, ask for the lamb shank special which is not on the menu. I get it for dinner every time I'm there. You will not be disappointed.

    Highly reccomend the place!

  • The best Indian food I've had!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/06/07
This is genuinely the best Indian restaurant I have been to. The Menu is extensive and there is so much to choose from - the variety of dishes and ingredients is impressive, and there's also a great selection of wines to accompany the dishes as well. There was a large party in when I ate there, which slightly spoiled the ambience, but ...

  • it started well, but....
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/05
Delicious and different starters, and a lot of tolerance for our late dining companions raised our hopes, but the main courrses were awful. There was that dreaded mix and match of sauces with lamb, chicken, fish etc, and our three chapatis never arrived despite the waiting staff being reminded. We had to have them taken off the bill too, which at ...

  • Best Indian in Glasgow
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/03/05
This has to be the best indian resturaunt in the city, and we have been regular customers for 6 years.

There is a varied menu to suit all tastes, and an excellent value lunch buffet.
