We were excited about the concept of the place. Once we arrived the prices were high, the 8 year old twins were bored. Granny chose to wait out in the lobby and be bombarded with school children running everywhere. Overall it just wasn't a thrill. The photo of the cave that is displayed on this site certainly doesn't look like real ...

Our Dynamic Earth is both educational and fun. The atmosphere is friendly, and you can learn so much from it. You can experience an earthquake, and learn loads about the Ice Age, conditions in the rainforest and deep in the ocean. I loved the real-life iceberg, the Time Machine and the Stratosphere. I would really recommend it for people of any age. Will be going back again!

First shock - the price, dynamic earth is VERY expensive for a family, then they have the cheek to ask you if you'd like to give some more money as a gift! Say no politely and proceed to the waiting area where you can marvel at some broken interactive things. A "time lift" awaits, where they flash random dates and sound effects at ...

I thought it wasn't as good as it was cracked up to be, i mean it was just a big lump of ice with handprints in it, i could have found that in my freezer, the only thingi liked about it was the lightining because it gave it a good icy cold effect.
I thoroughly enjoyed this interactive museum. I would also venture to say that the majority of the 43 students I helped chaperone enjoyed it, too. Dynamic Earth is a very modern science museum that allows people to interact with the exhibits, thus providing a unique hands on experience.
One of the best exhibits is the iceberg... You can touch it and it's really ice!
I thought that the idea of the lift you go down to get to all the different resources in dynamic earth was brilliant because it made it look like you were going back in time.
The informtion provided about the earth was very interesting and would suit a geography class or primary with an aim to learn more about the earth.

We visited Dynamic Earth and had a wonderful time. We went off in a time machine to start our adventure. We saw how the earth was formed 40,000,000 years ago,how oceans, ice and volcanos all play their part, and how the world works. It was educational but extremely interesting also.
We recommend spending £1 on hiring the audio guide, which ...
