It is presented in a logical pattern that allows visitors to "walk through time". I only had a half day there and I am planning a return trip with more time allocated to the Museum.

Try to visit to this museum on your Edinburgh trip. If you can, join one of the guided tours. My guide was well informed and went out of her way to make this an enjoyable and interesting visit. There enough here to fill half a day or more.
