I LOVE MADERIA'S THE STAFF ARE SO FREINDLY AND POLITE
THE FOOD IS AMAZEING AND SUCH GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
I GO THERE EVERY OPPERTUNITY I CAN I LOVE THEIR STARTERS MAINS AND DESERTS IVE NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL IN THEIR AND WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO EVERYONE

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend at work, therefore decided to take my partner and his family for his Birthday, the service was excellent the food was fantastic and value for money was great. The staff were friendly a great atmosphere and great fun would definitely recommend.

The Madeira is an o.k experience if you are a meat or fish eater but the veggie option is poor.
The choice is pasta, omlette or mushroom stroganoff, not exactly riveting.The dessert menu is also poor with the vast majority being ice cream based or sorbet. Service was good, shame about the food.

we went for a special night out one evening,just my husband and myself,after it was recommended to us by a friend...the food was delicious,the service very very good, and the relaxing atmosphere perfected the evening. since then i've recommended it many times to family and friends and go back at least once every three weeks.best restaurant in cardiff!

We (5 of us on a conference at the CIA across the road)discovered the Madeira Restaurante, more by luck than judgement. Everything was so good, we went back the 2nd night.
Can recommend the kebabs, with the novel was of serving them. Great atmosphere, noise of people enjoying great food, staff friendly and fun and not too eager to get you out, even at a late hour

I have recently visited the Madeira resturante with a group of friends. The ambiance was fine, a busy atmosphere. What was not fine was the food. There was a group of 8 of us and overall the food was poor. My main course was cold, and this was not unique to my meal. I did not think this was good value for money.
There are much better places to eat in the city, and certainly do not go there for any special occasion as you will be disappointed!

I went to the Madeira with a party of 35 as our Christmas Office do. Everyone had a superb 3 course meal plus tea/coffee and it was a real bonus that the staff were friendly and obliging. Waiting on the large group seemed effortless and was an amazing feat as the Restaurant was full to capacity with other diners. We will certainly be going back for more!
