The place is huge and there are several buildings to look at. I thought the best part of the whole place was Alexander the Great's tomb. Don't miss it. It's worth the admission alone.

The atmosphere from the first moment is breath taking. Beautiful old buildings, set in a big park of cpyresses take one back in time to quiet, slow eras.
The new tile museum, or the kiosk is simply out of this world.
The main building presentation is not the best, but the artifacts in display are incredible. So many cultures and civilizations ...

the museum was a wonderful experience. I love architecture and enjoyed the museum. You should go in the summer when the architecture looks the greatest. I was amazed by it

This museum was fantastic. One of the best sites in Istanbul, it has a wonderful collection of Classical Greek and Hellenistic art. It also has an impressive collectino of Near Eastern art, and while the Egyptian art is nice, it is not as impressive as other areas in the Near East. Still, the museum is a must stop tour for anyone visiting Istanbul.
