The Prado is definitely one of the finest museums of the world. It is a must see for any art lover. Famous pieces include Velazquez's "Las Meninas", Fra Angelico's "The Annunciation" and my personal favorite "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Bosch. You'll also find lots of Goya here, including some very dark work from his "black paintings".

Exhaustingly beautiful. The audio tools are fantastic in ensuring a good understanding of what is being viewed. For a person who can handle one museum visit per year, this was a real eye opener.

Such genius words cannot describe ! I mean why go anywhere else? Spain is the absolute best place for the real European art experience. France and Italy don't even come so close as to hold a candle to spain.

From Goya to Velazquez

I absolutely love the Prado. The art work there is incredible and admission is free on Sunday's. It makes for a cheap activity to do with the whole family, while learning a bit of Spanish culture at the same time.

The ...

You can enjoy all the masterpieces of El Greco, Goya, Velazquez, Murillo, talking about the spanish artists.
I recomend to spend a little more time also taking a look into the El Bosco paintings, they are good but strange for the time he painted them. You will see.
At teh very beginning of the tour in the Museum you can see and enjoy the master piece of Frangelico, La Anunciaci
