Maybe we just went on the wrong night but my friends and i didnt enjoy JOY and left after half an hour! the crowd was in their 40s and upwards!not mch craic for young ppl. the nightclb itself was well decorated and well done... but compared to other places in madrid not amazing!
The crowd did deem wealthy but if you like it boring...

I absolutely loved Joy. Madrid is a beautiful place and I can't wait to go back there. Everything was wonderful! The people were nice, even though the spanish was very fast, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The people never go to sleep there. It's sort of a culture shock, but a very welcomed one.

I lived in Madrid for about 3 months and practically went to Joy twice a week. It's roudy and fun. It usually is busy around 2 am..thats' when to go. Drinks are pricy..but just get drunk before hand. The music is amazing..all techno!

Joy does have a good atmosphere but its pretty commercialized. I lived in Madrid for a year... and if you want the best Madrileno experience.. I suggest wandering down some little, off the main road, streets to discover some authentic Spanish clubs and bars! Always ask a local whats a great hotspot while you're there.

The nightlife there is just an atmosphere to none other. The music and the dancing and the people there. It's AMAZING!
