  • A truely inspirational experience

Don't forget to ask to see the Wedding Chapel for which they may charge an additional $2 US .... Hopefully, there will be a guide there to tell you about the recent renovation. The history of the synagogue and it's founders is quite interesting. All religions and all ages will add this bit of information to their widening knowledge of Russian history.

Having just returned from st petersburg and a visit to your synagogue i had to write and tell you how moved i was by the experience. The concert was superb, and the cantor was inspiring.I would like to purchase some more dolls from the shop would this be possible on line?

I am anxiously awaiting your reply as I would like to give them to my eight grandchildren, your shop had run out at the tme of my visit.

We were warmly greeted and given an informative tour by the Cantor-an extremely gracious man. Bought several unique items in the gift shop;treasures to remember our wonderful visit.

Our visit was in the summer of 2004 and the remodel and construction were coming along beautifully. My wife and I hope to come back sometime in the future.

  • A lovely, marvelous experience!

This Synagogue is well worth a visit during your stay in St. Petersburg. The Safra underwriting has almost totally refurbished this gorgeous structure. We were warmly greeted and given a tour. There is also a shop on premise, selling Kosher food items as well as some fabulous Judaica. The Synagogue truly represents a community becoming again vital and strong after so many years of oppression.
