This is the second best cathedral in St Petersburg and is a must see for any trip there. HUGE is the best word for it. The inside is impressive and you will probably have a crick in your neck from looking up for so long.

At St. Issacs you are able to go up to the rimm of the dome, it is quite the work out to get up there but the view is amazing. I loved it!

The panoramic view this locale offers of the city is astounding. The interior of the church is also very elegant without being too Byzantine and over the top like a lot of the other Russian Cathedrals. The stained glass windows are beautiful. Conveniently located in the center of town, it is also an ideal tourist site for those with mobility problems, although they won't be able to enjoy the catwalk.

It's one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. The interior is excelent! The facades overview the Nevsky Prospect.
