The Russians love Novii God (New Years)-- it's their Christmas of sorts (Santa Claus even comes then and lays presents under the Christmas tree). But Red Square at New Years is very much worth visiting. There are fireworks, artistic shows, public figures, crowds. It's joyous and well-worth it.

I was blown away by my surondings. I just fell in love with every thing. The shopping senery and all the history. This a place that I wil remember forever.

This place is just fantastic.I think that place like this you can find in most powerful countries in the world,like formal United Soviet Socialist Republics and now Russia.

Red Square is easily accessible by metro and while making your way to it you get a great view of the Bolshoy Theatre, even though it is closed for renovation at the moment. had a great time visiting red square, was great to see it at night (was a little cold, but was a great trip)visited in October. must see is the shopping mall and the church.
was also good visit doing the day, and the state historcial mus.

The Red Square presents the triumphs of the Soviet Union, we show it through pride and dignity that we have served our country loyaly and to our fullest capabilities. Anything less would be considered unworthy. I think it presents the determination of the Russian people, the artistery that we have to offer, that there is so much we can do.
