Polish history in one placeThis is one museum that a visitor to Warsaw has to see, do not leave Warsaw not having seen this one. Superb collectionI took my son to the museum. It has one of the most impressive collections of hardware ;eg Horse armour, swords and hand weapons,Helmets, Decorations, Uniforms of the Winged Hussars, armour, firearms and tracked vehicles that I have seen.
It also has aircraft and WW2 armoured vehicles, Naval guns and shells and siege mortars outside.

ExcellentVery interesting museum with a impressive collection covering a considerable time period. I was mainly interested in the medieval items of which there was only one room (and this room was the darkest museum room I've ever been in so take ultra-fast film; don't know why as there were no textiles or other very photosensitive pieces). ...You did not find this review helpful.3 of 4 Yahoo! Military MuseumFor those who like military history this museum is well worth a visit. It has some excellent displays of uniforms and weapons from old to new. For those who are interested in WW2 there is a 4 wheel enigma cypher machine which is in brand new condition likewise a motorcycle. Outside there are guns, tanks and aircraft.
