it was an awesome trip- I really enjoyed it. they should really consider having more english guides though. I definately think that anybody who needs an outing while in Norway would enjoy it! I would definately go back and see it again, given the chance!

I just looked at it for a class project and it amazed me soo much I can't wait to see if I can go at a later time it is so beautiful.

The castle and it's rooms were interesting, but not worth the 40 kroner entrance fee. Views of Oslo city from the castle ramparts are great, and so are the trees lining the lanes inside the fortress (assuming you come here in summer). Don't miss the crypt. English guided tours are not often enough(barely 2 per day). Music concerts on weekends are worth the visit.
