LOVED THE PLACE A LOT!!!!!!I lived every moment that i was at the engelbret cafe: the staff were friendly and courteous, and the general atmosphere was very relaxing:

still going strongThe restaurant is now celebrating its 150 year aniversary and are under NEW management with TOP service and a scruptous new menue the king crab is a must - during summer you can sit outside on the charming patio and during winter dont forget to book way in advance for the famouse Norwegian "lutefisk"

worst everwe sat down, the waiter broght the menu, and asked the other waiter- do you have a tablecloth to wipe off the table???
Nooh.... (that was as such correct, but she didn't do anything to go into the kitchen to fetch it)

Looking forward to my next visit!!I loved the Engelbret Cafe for its lovely cosy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and courteous, and I found the Engelbret Cafe to be very relaxing.
I loved the pictures of the ships and boats which added vibrancy and color to the place.
I will always come to dine atr your establishment whenever I come over to Oslo
for a vacation.
