Queen's Day is lots of things... gambling in the streets (carnival type gambling), rides, beer, food, music (both big concerts and bands at coffee shops and bars), crowds, noise, and lots of fun.

It's also the day of the national garage sale... you may pick up some neat stuff in regular residential districts you'd never find back ...

In 2006, I was at queens day by accident. I was actually deported to Amsterdam during the holiday. If yo do plan to go, book a hotel in advance. It is the biggest party I have ever seen.

I was in Amsterdam for Queens Day 2001 and had so much fun. There are people, bands, parties all over the place and everyone has such a great time. I can't wait to go back and celebrate again.

Think about being at Europes Biggest party in Europe biggest city. Beer garden on every corner, hotels and hostel book years in advance and coffee shops open all night... you got Queensday in Amsterdam! The best experience and the most wild time I have ever seen!
