My first place to visit in Rome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/06
My husband and I have visited Rome twice and I always drag him to the Santa Maria della Vittoria to view Bernini's masterpiece, The Ectasy of Saint Teresa...it is absolutely beautiful and I could stare at it for hours. Don't miss it!

Have to pay me to leave

The Santa Maria della Vittoria was great. The art and architecture were beautiful. Bernini's statue of St. Theresa of Avila was extremly enjoyable. Some even thought it to be better than Michelangelo's Pieta. The atmosphere was comforting. I really suggest that anyone go here especialy if you love art.
