Just about one hundred meters away from here, there is an large intersection. There are about 5 streets coming to one. There are no traffic lights, and there are only occasionaly traffic police. We were walking past and found it so funny to watch! There was also a man who had parked in the middle of the road, who was outraged by getting a fine! We had fun!!!!

ROME NOT JUST FOR ROMANTICS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/11/07
THIS ALONG WITH ALL THE SIGHTS OF ROME WAS WELL WORTH SEEING GO TO THE COLOSSEUM TRIVI FOUNTAIN AND VATICAN CITY. ROME WAS AMAZING. DONT FORGET TO HAVE VERY COMFY SHOES. JULY WAS HOT MAYBE JUNE WOULD BE COOLER. DONT TAKE CHILDREN.
I knew that if I could see or find the Piazza Venezia and the Monument, I could find my way back to the hotel. Getting around Rome on foot can be a challenge but using this Piazza at a centering point is a plus. The large white marble monument with the horses on either end is visible at a distance.

All this for a hero
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/05
I thought this was some kind of temple... turns out it's a memorial to the unknown soldier. I was astonished that the Italians would put SUCH GUSTO into a monument to someones whose name they don't even know! You can't even imagine it's spectacle... a must see and right next to the Roman Forum!
