Loved the Egyptian obelisk of Rames II. Could be the oldest man made object in Rome??? Loved standing on all sides and taking in the surroundings.

Michelangelo's Sistene Chapel ceiling and Pieta made me cry from its beauty.One must still be wary of pickpocketers,which is sad in this setting.We were there in early fall, when the weather wasn't so unbearably hot.

i think every visitor to Rome should start at the Piazza del Popolo. Sit on the steps in the centre of the piazza and the whole of Rome is laid out in front of you. To the left down via del Babuino you will get to the Spanish Steps, straight ahead down via del Corso will be the Vittorio Emmanuel monument, the forum and the Colisseum, and to the right down via Ripetta will take you to Piazza Navona and then the Vatican. Try it, it will be fun.

It is the most beautiful place that I have ever seen. I wish to see it 100,000,000,000 more times. The engravings are wonderful. It was a great experience. I think that kids will not find it as exciting as adults, but that is only my opinan.
