it was horrible. very ugly i would not recommend going to this attraction. famous people diffenetly wouldnt like this place so dont go. losers probably like it.

it was the best place i ever went too!
though i hated everything about it too.
i do not want to go there ever again because it was so boring and stupid.
it was the best trip.
i recomed it to all visitors and i feel angry about the trip.

Of course you have to see the fountain, but it is crowded, the gypsies harrassing, and the vendors annoying. Now that I have seen it once, I will never deal with the hassell again.

Went to see it one my first full day in Rome. Full of tourists. I had trouble getting down to the base of the fountain to take my picture. See it and leave it. not the best place to stay. Too many tourists to get to know the real Rome.

Beautiful at night and a very few tourists. All of the bus dwellers have left the city for the day. Totally different feel at night, seeing the reflection of the water on the statues...Ah!

They clean out all the change from the fountain on Mondays from 9 AM to 11 AM so try and go after or before that!

I saw many pictures of Trevi before my vacation. But when I went there it was full of tourists and I couldn't find a place to sit in that crowd. It's a nice place but there are similar fountains every where in Rome. sennur karabayir

trevi is a must see but too crowded any time. original visit was jan 68 and fountain worker union was on strike thus no h2o. susequent visits in 99 01 and 04 indicates all of europe and most of the u s can afford to travel overseas.

This fountain was tucked away and it took a little time to locate. When we arrived you could not move on any to the three viewing levels. There was garbage floating and a man picking the coins out of the fountain. I realized that the end June is not the best time to visit Rome.

It was nice to be able to say we saw the fountain, but I wasn't so impressed as I thought I would be. I am sure that seeing it a night would have made the difference for us, but our hotel was just too far away to walk at night.
